- Domain name transfers must be initiated at the ‘New registrars Website’, that is the website for the domain registrar where you want your domain name ‘Transferred to’.
- First of all, you must first ensure that your domain name is ‘Not Locked’, or being prevented from being transferred out of this registry.
- Click on the ‘Manage Account’ link.
- Enter your NetworkSolutions.com ‘User ID’ and ‘Password’ in the text box. Then click the ‘Log In’ button.
- You are now logged in to your NetworkSolutions.com account.
- Click on ‘nsWebAddress (Domains’) under ‘Updates and Alerts’.
- Click ‘Manage Domain Names’.
- Then click ‘Turn Off or Request Authorization Code’ to turn off ‘Domain Protect’ (or Registry Lock).
- Select ‘Leave Domain Protect off’ to ‘Turn Domain Protect Off’, then click ‘Save’.
