Transferring domain names away from StarGate.com

  • We assume that you have a domain name registered through www.stargate.com

  • Let’s start from the home page of their webpage (www.stargate.com)

  • Domain name transfers must be initiated at the ‘New registrars Website’, that is the website for the domain registrar where you want your domain name ‘Transferred to’.

  • First of all, you must first ensure that your domain name is ‘Not Locked’, or being prevented from being transferred out of this registry.

  • Click on ‘Login’ menu on the top of the page.

  • Enter your stargate.com Username and Password in the login text boxes, and then click ‘Login to your domain account’ button.

  • You are now logged in to your domainsite.com account.

  • ·         Now click on ‘Domains’ menu at the top of the page, and then click ‘List Last 10’.

  • ·         Click on ‘Domain Name - Click to Manage’ link for the domain.

  • Now click the ‘Lock/Unlock’ button and then uncheck ‘Customer lock’ box.

  • Now click ‘Update’ button.

  • That’s it. The lock has been removed from the domain name, so it can now be transferred to another domain registrar.

  • You must now go to the website of the domain name registrar you wish to transfer to, and initiate a ‘Domain transfer request’.

  • When finished, click the ‘Log-out’ link.
