Transferring domain names away from DynaDot.com

  • We assume that you have a domain name registered through www.dynadot.com

  • Let’s start from the home page of their webpage (www.dynadot.com )

  • Domain name transfers must be initiated at the ‘New registrars Website’, that is the website for the domain registrar where you want your domain name ‘Transferred to’.

  • First of all, you must first ensure that your domain name is ‘Not Locked’, or being prevented from being transferred out of this registry.

  • Enter your dynadot.com account username and password in the text box of ‘Account Signin’ section. Then click the ‘Sign in’ button.

  • You are now logged in to your dynadot.com account.

  • Now click the ‘Domain Names’ link in the ‘Quick Link’ section.

  • Then click on the domain name for which you want to remove the registry lock.

  • In the new page, change the lock status to ‘Unlocked’ in the ‘Transfer Lock’ section, then click ‘Submit’ button.

  • That’s it. The lock has been removed from the domain name, so it can now be transferred to another domain registrar.

  • You must now go to the website of the domain name registrar you wish to transfer to, and initiate a ‘Domain transfer request’.

  • When finished, click the ‘Log-out’ link.
